USA - Day 3

Boston

Hi y'all, fiona here! Today was another long day but a day full of sightseeing!! We had an early start (well...early by my standards at 8am) We caught the next subway and headed for downtown where we wandered bout for s bit and took it all in. We then went on a trolley tour of the city which took us past everything from The Boston Tea Party to the Washington Tower and Quincy Market

Dad and Catriona in the trolley...

The Conductor lady was ace, with her Bostonian accent and attitude she kept the 1.5hr tour interesting and informative. I find that guided tours are a brilliant way to get a quick round up of all the major sights in s city without having to do too much walking about. In the afternoon we went back and visited the Boston tea party museum and ships which was actually quite interesting. It was a theatrical styled recap of the event with actors, a film and some cool talking paintings!!
Wee trinkets we got while entering the tea party museum. Our new Identities and a feather as a disguise. (For the full story click the link above)
This was part of the theatrical tour.

Haha anyway we then walked back into town towards the Quincy market which was cool...lots of things going on.

Bright colours at onw of the market stalls

Today was also rather hot so by 4pm we were all ready to do home! We also fond a Dunkin' Doughnuts next to the tube station :D

Anyway I think my brain is still in UK mode so I'm pretty sleepy! Photos will all be added when we get to a computer this weekend in Maine'

Here are some wee instagrsms to keep you going till then though :)

Goodnight everyone :) xx
