USA ... Day 23
Today we had a reasonably early start (for us anyway) and we wet up and out of the house by 9:30. We Headed over to pick up Megan (who we were in Rehoboth with) to drive over to a big market called Hometown. Hometown is a mixture of farmers market and jumble sale either almost everything you could think of being sold there! It was a brilliant atmosphere where we were surrounded by lots of colours, smells and noises in every direction.
I also had my first ever encounter with the Amish(Thats them through the hatch on the right)! There were couple of Amish families that had stalls selling home grown fruit and veggies and some hand made goods. For our elevenses snack we all had an Amish soft pretzel with cinnamon and sugar with a cup of home made lemonade! Both were delicious and we (Megan and I in particular) managed to make a sticky mess of ourselves with sugar and lemonade!(the second picture above!) Balancing various items in each hand as well as keeping your face clean is hard work with messy foods! Haha anyway we picked up a couple of the wee trinkets at the stalls, the girls got some perfume and I got some peaches :)

We then continued down the road a bit further to a place called Jim Thorpe where we hiked Glen Onoko falls. Bearing in mind it was about 90 Fahrenheit outside I think we did pretty well to climb up the three mile hike, scrambling up the rocky terrain up the front of the mountain and be back down the dirt road back round the mountain in an hour and 45 mins!! We have renamed ourselves the Trail Angels to as we led the path of a few list looking hikers and directed some other along a safer rough down the mountain! Haha we walked it pretty fast so we lost some of the people following us... We left URL some arrows made of stones to make sure they made their way ok though :P
Looking back down what we climbed up! Steep and a lot of scrambling but a good workout and GREAT FUN! :)
This is Nikki Megan and I from the top!
We just headed back to Nikkis house and got ready to out for a few drinks and some food with her mum.
